Frequently Answered Questions

  • Brain-Body Therapy provides guided workouts designed to improve the symptoms of various mental health conditions—all while improving your overall fitness.

  • Exercise improves mental health by promoting neuroplasticity—your brain’s ability to form new connections and adapt over time. When you exercise, your brain releases chemicals like endorphins (which boost mood) and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which helps create and strengthen neural pathways. This process improves emotional regulation, reduces stress, and enhances cognitive function. Regular exercise also lowers levels of stress hormones like cortisol and increases the production of dopamine and serotonin— neurotransmitters that help regulate mood and reduce anxiety and depression. By physically engaging your body, you’re training your brain to become more resilient and adaptable, improving both your mental and emotional wellbeing.

We’re also working on adding specialized plans for ADHD and PTSD in the near future to provide even more targeted support.
